Whilst trawling the streets of London, I came across this, which I presumed to be a pigeon. When I mentioned its lack of movement I was assured it was tired and shagged out after a long squawk.

Oh poor birdy! :****(
I know. No idea what got it (although I was in Weymouth once and saw a seagull attempting to eat a pigeon. A live one).
hmm…birds nowadays…. you image reminded me of two pet chicks i had last month…sadly both died of some disease… Tried everything, but still…
That’s so sad. My wife managed to rescue a chick last month – by ‘rescue’ I mean hold on to it for a few minutes to make sure nothing ate it until its mother finally showed up.
since that incident, seeing a fallen bird saddens me. And aww that’s very nice of your wife… ^_^
