Ah, St Valentine’s Day. Whether you are single, courting or married, today is a day you can easily either love or hate. Usually my wife and I use it as an excuse to go out for a meal, but nothing more. If you need to wait for a special day to tell a loved one you love them, then you probably don’t feel that strongly about them – in much the same way that both Mother’s and Father’s Days should also, in an ideal world, be irrelevant.
