Somehow, despite sometimes seeming like I wouldn’t make it this far, I’ve made it to 500 posts here on The Daily Photo. When I started this blog as an accompaniment to Creative Splurges on January 1st 2012 I didn’t really know how long it would last. The goal was to keep a daily presence and encourage more people to check out Creative Splurges. Since then it’s grown consistently, amassing over 180 followers and 6,500 hits. I’m pretty amazed I’ve kept it going for 500 days, so thanks for reading.

As I often do, I’m celebrating this milestone with a photograph of some fireworks, because I lack imagination.
