Considering the health and safety culture we have in Britain it was quite surprising to see this water-filled channel in London by Tower Bridge. I mean, look at it: apartially-sighted person could stumble into it and twist an ankle, a small child could fall into it face-first and drown, some drunkard could urinate in it upstream and make a lot of people sick. It’s a series of incidents waiting to happen.
