I’ve found I’m usually completely ignorant about the buildings in London, right up until the point I’ve taken a photograph of one and want to describe it for Creative Splurges. Then it’s a quick trip to Google or Wikipedia to figure what I’ve photographed, so that I can then explain it to everyone as if I had any idea what it was. Or indeed, had even noticed it before.

This is Unilever House. Apparently. I only noticed it because of the flags it was flying at the time, as this image was taken at the tail end of the Olympics last year.
