This is a shot from a fireworks display at Swanage a couple of years ago. The event marked the first time I’d taken a DSLR to such as display, so I might not have been making the most effective use of the settings at the time (back then I was still changing the wrong settings in order to force the camera into behaving how I wanted, instead of asking it nicely). I was also shooting handheld.
